Employer Sponsorship

Want your company to pay for SAIL?

SAIL is a leadership development program. Your organization may already have professional-development, executive-coaching, or L&D funding available. SAIL gives you a way to make the case internally.

Make the case for SAIL.

SAIL is leadership development, not a company-paid vacation. Here is what is actually included — in language an employer can evaluate.

$6,500 / participant

One price. One experience.

Leadership Development

  • CrowsNest360™
  • Periscope Leadership Profile™
  • 8 private coaching sessions
  • Individual development objectives
  • Personalized onboard development
  • Post-voyage integration

Experience + Logistics

  • 4–5 night Virgin Voyages sailing
  • Private Sea Terrace cabin
  • Single occupancy
  • Ground transportation to and from the ship within 25 miles of the port

Optional airfare, hotel accommodations and cabin upgrades may be coordinated separately. One professional-development investment — not a program fee followed by separate cruise-booking logistics.

  • What is SAIL?

An immersive 4–5 night leadership-development experience aboard Virgin Voyages. Coaching, behavioral insight, 360 feedback, and post-voyage integration — not a seminar.

  • Why is it leadership development rather than incentive travel?

It includes assessment, individual objectives, private coaching, behavioral commitments, and integration after the event. The ship is the environment, not the deliverable.

  • What assessments are included?

CrowsNest360 (multi-perspective leadership feedback) and the Periscope Leadership Profile (behavioral tendencies and growth orientation).

  • How much coaching is included?

Eight private coaching sessions — four pre-voyage, two aboard, two post-voyage.

  • What happens before the voyage?

Assessments, goal and outcome development, and four 25-minute private coaching sessions that design an individualized SAIL pathway.

  • What happens aboard?

Two 30-minute private coaching sessions, optional onboard development, the SAIL app, and intentional unstructured time. Nothing is mandatory.

  • What happens afterward?

Two 25-minute integration sessions, behavioral commitments, and 30/60/90-day thinking where appropriate.

  • What development areas can SAIL address?

Self-care, awareness, influence, learning, communication, conflict, decision-making, executive presence, and whatever surfaces in the participant's own assessment.

  • How is the experience personalized?

Through the participant's individual objectives, assessment results, and preferred level of structure — not a shared syllabus.

  • How does SAIL create accountability after the voyage?

Integration coaching, behavioral commitments, and follow-through — designed to help insights survive re-entry into normal work.

  • What information does the employer receive?

Confirmation of participation and voyage details arranged through the employer. SAIL does not share private coaching conversations, CrowsNest results, Periscope results, or personal development information with an employer without the participant's consent.

Privacy principle

By default, employers receive confirmation of participation and voyage logistics — not private coaching conversations, assessment results, or personal development information. Any additional sharing requires the participant's explicit consent and is arranged in advance.
